I spend my days in unexpected places, from Parisian antique boutiques to Caribbean beaches, from New York City flea markets to my grandmother’s attic, searching for smashing finds: sparkling pavé earrings, gilded chains, embellished skirts, vibrant Tiffany-blue dishes, fabulous wood-carved gold leaf frames, and my favorite, Japanese oil paintings of ships in the harbor.
When we founded Cocotay seven years ago, I began my search for Victorian-era pins, which have evolved into our signature accent. Over time, vintage has continued to be both a source of inspiration and an integral component of every Cocotay design – from our jewelry to our handbags to our newest venture: interior design.
I recently completed a few interior design projects, for clients in New York City, that run the gamut from “safari chic” to “city beach”, using special, one-of-a-kind finds.
We believe in surrounding yourself with style, grace and “fashionable” energy. Our journey was borne from our passion for one-of-a-kind accessories. Now, we’re able to bring this signature into our clients’ homes.
